Who we are
Welcome to Luova Finland, a Finnish company dedicated to creating authentic, memorable experiences for Chinese travelers in Finland. Our mission is to share Finland’s natural beauty, rich culture, and high quality of life in a way that resonates with our guests and makes them feel at home, even in a foreign land.
Luova Finland was founded in 2016 to offer butler services for Chinese speaking customers mainly in the areas of leisure, business and education. Throughout the years we have expanded our services to also include wellbeing and healthcare services. We have a wide network of partners in Finland that we proudly work together with.
Company founders, Sanja and Cheng, has years of experience from guiding Chinese guests all around Finland; from the capital of Helsinki to northern parts of Lapland and throughout the Lakeland and Archipelago regions. Our expertise lies in tailoring a seamless itinerary that suits your preferences and schedule.
We have arranged tours lasting from a few hours to a few weeks, while group sizes have varied from one person to up to 30 persons. We have guided various types of groups, including students, business owners, families and government delegations.
Our Story
The idea for our company began while our founder, Sanja, was living in Shanghai and working in a software company. Every day, she shared stories about her homeland, Finland, with her Chinese colleagues. Through these conversations, she began to rediscover the unique beauty of her country: Finland’s wide blue skies, fresh air, drinkable tap water, nature just steps away from every home, and its world-renowned free education. It reminded her that when you stay in one place too long, you can start to overlook the simple things that make it special. This sparked an idea: why not share Finland’s treasures with Chinese travelers in a truly meaningful way?
Though there are already many tours available to Finland, most are quick stops as part of multi-country trips. These whirlwind tours often don’t do justice to Finland’s culture, as travelers only see the main attractions without having time to experience the country’s true essence. Our company believes in a different approach, focusing on quality over quantity. By spending more time in one place, relaxing, and experiencing life more like a local, Chinese travelers can gain a real appreciation for Finnish culture. This also allows us, as a local operator, to share Finland’s best experiences more authentically—making it a win-win for everyone involved.
Our version of “living like a local” doesn’t mean following a rigid routine or giving up comforts. Instead, we aim to combine the best of Finnish culture with familiar comforts. That might mean enjoying Finnish nature while having the option to savor Chinese food, staying in high-quality hotels, and using the most convenient transport options to get around.
We believe that smaller groups create better experiences. Focusing on small groups, couples, or families lets us deliver the personalized, high-quality services our guests deserve. And if the customer has already explored Helsinki’s main sights, we’re here to design an itinerary tailored specifically for them including hidden gems they definitely haven’t discovered during their past visit.
To ensure a smooth, enriching experience, we provide local experts available at all time so our customers feel at home while exploring new surroundings. We take care of everything, allowing our customers to fully enjoy Finland at its best.
Sustainability
At Luova Finland, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As a company rooted in Finland’s pristine nature and cultural heritage, we are committed to operating responsibly and ensuring that our guests experience Finland in a way that protects its environment, supports local communities, and respects cultural traditions.
We prioritise collaboration with eco-conscious partners, promote low-impact travel practices, and uphold strict guidelines for wildlife interactions, waste reduction, and resource efficiency. Our guides are trained to communicate responsible behaviour clearly to guests—both in natural areas and urban settings—so that every experience contributes positively to the places we visit.
To strengthen our sustainability framework, we are currently in the process of applying for both the Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) certificate and the Good Travel Seal. These certifications reflect our long-term commitment to transparent, measurable, and continuously improving sustainability practices across all aspects of our operations.
Sustainability is not just a goal for us—it is an ongoing journey, and we are dedicated to growing responsibly together with our partners and visitors.
